This image was created way back in the early 90’s. Jumiah was one of the early pioneers of the photoshop/photography revolution bringing fantasy into reality, using the limited version 1 and a 2 gigabyte mac hard drive and 4mb of ram. Jumiah presented his idea of creating something a little different, with little convincing he was commissioned by the late Umberto Giannini, hair dresser to the stars, to create images for his avant garde collection. Jumiah created 8 fabulous pictures in total that rocked the world of hairdressing at the time. The hair industry had never seen anything like it before, at the prestigious British hair awards. Umberto won hands down giving him the title as the youngest ever to win the Avante Garde hairdresser of the year back then.
